Welcome to the snowy Woolley Farm

Just cruising by? Well, why don’t you stop in and visit? Yes, come on up the driveway and I’ll show you around. It’s cold today 10* at 8am, but the sky is heart-breakingly blue and one has to squint as the sun on the snow hurts your eyes. Wrap up in this extra wool scarf & mitties and let’s go see what’s new.

Positively balmy at your place, I see. It was -12 here and -25 at Lasell’s! It did warm up to 19 or so later in the day, however. Tonight and tomorrow we are expecting between 8-14 more inches of snow. John is out front, digging out the snow in front of the porch, which was up above the porch railing, which is three feet above the floor, which is three feet above the ground…He’s made great progress. I can see the driveway now! The little doelings came today. They are very cute, but they do smell like goats. Not as bad as saanens and nubians but still, sheep smell much better.

Love the photos of snow and all your new babies. The snow photos are lovely to look at, but make me glad I live in Texas where it was a balmy 80 degrees today. I don’t think I could take the cold even if it is pretty.

I am so very glad that white stuff is done for this year–it is, isn’t it? at the moment we have green grass, happy lambs, and trees in bloom–should be a good sign, huh?
The pictures of your farm in all it’s winter glory are beautiful, tho. sue
