Ice on the trees

Note the chicken coop just about buried in the snow.

Daphne’s first baby

We found this in the barn last night — our first cashmere baby of the season and Daphne’s first baby. This little boy is out of Logan, our black buck. He will be silver in color

Daphne & baby

Daphne’s a very good mom. Now, what shall we name the baby boy?

Opps

Opps
Here is Opps, the little mistake, getting a snack from the Moorit mom. He’s cute and will make a great wethered fleece animal.

Baby again

A new Jacob baby

Originally uploaded by The Woolley Farm.

Our first ‘real’ jacob of the season. A Singlet ram. Will sell him as he has no black on his nose, just a little pigment and under his chin. But good spotting and should have a great fleece.

Ono, 3 days old

Originally uploaded by The Woolley Farm.

Ono is very strong for such a little girl. She’s out in the big pen with her brother & mother. That cloud you see is the breath of one of the other ewes. It’s cold in there!

Tired baby

Belly full, this little guy takes a rest break.

Breakfast bar

Cocoa the moorit opens the breakfast bar for her twins. Their little tails wiggle a mile a minute when they’re eating.

Path to the sheep pasture

Originally uploaded by The Woolley Farm.

Icy yard, tiny path to the sheep and there’s a chicken coop to the right. You can just barely see sheep peeking out over the snow.
