Brandons socks

Originally uploaded by The Woolley Farm.

Finally done– Brandon’s Christmas socks in Jo Sharp DK tweed — wool, cashmere, and silk. A total delight to knit on size 5 needles — works up fast and feels wonderful while you’re knitting. I love this yarn! I was going to knit in a little sheep but the little bugger just wouldn’t behave. Brandon said it looked like someone had flung a hot marshmallow onto the socks. After 3 tries, I skipped the sheep & just did the fence from the chart and then made up some other decorative stitches.
