Four pounds & 0 ounces, that is. So he’s gained 1.5 pounds in 3 days. In celebration, I put him into a new coat, but it’s way too big. Looks good with his sparkly collar though.
I’m also posting a pic of the Tunis I’m working on. Remember that blog of wet wool in the basement? I’m slowly putting it thru the drum carder. Once I have a basket full I can start spinning. I like to spin. Just as fast as I can treadle. Makes me feel like I’m getting somewhere. where? I don’t know, just… somewhere. Somewhere else. Vroom Vroom

So, if Homer is living indoors, which, presumably, is heated, why does he need a coat on, besides the coat he wears naturally? Do you wear two coats in your house? Maybe you don’t heat it and you do…how do I know!
Well, I’m headed out to the shed to check on Delilah, who had gook coming out the back at 10 p.m. and was shivering (pain, I assume, as it isn’t cold). She tends to be a rather private sheeple people, so I gave her some privacy. Now, I’ll go observe and see how things are coming along. Last year she had triplets.

I love the rhinestone sparkly collar! I might have to go get one for myself. Much to my daughter’s disgust, I do have a selection of Hello Kitty jewelry, the collar would go well…I got pooped on the other day, chicken poop, way worse than any age of sheep poop. As for lamb, I don’t much care for it either. I followed Betty’s advice and got all mine ground. I have made some really yummy dishes. I don’t know if is because it is more seasoned or that it is fresh and therefore tastes better.

Gillian, where did you find your lamb recipes? Re: Hello Kitty stuff, do you actually wear it? My kind of girl! Here’s a quote I found the other day:
“Humour makes a serious difference.”
Isn’t that a treasure?
